Day 5, Went to Asahikawa from JR Sapporo Station at 9:30. You can go to the zoo by taking a bus from Asahikawa station. If you do not want, then you can continue to take local train to go to Asahikawa Ramen Village. However, if you want to taste the local ramen from Asahikawa that is more delicious than Ramen Village, please ask at tourist information counter and they will give you several options. I chose to try Tenkin Ramen about 20 mins walking from Asahikawa station. After that you can strolling around the city such as Tokiwa Park, 7-jo Green Belt , Heiwa Dori. Maybe not much to see for me. Other than Otokoyama Sake Brewery Museum.     Continued my journey to Bibaushi for visiting Shikisai No Oka. It was 20-30 mins walking from Bibaushi station. You also can rent a bicycle there and going around. Returned back via Furano Station, and had one hour waiting for our next train. I walked around Furano in that afternoon.       Day 6, I just planned t...

Hokkaido JR Pass Simple Itinerary in Summer (Part 1)

Image
My journey took me to Hokkaido trip this time in summer. June. My base was staying in Sapporo only for 8 nights and 7 effective days for traveling around. Day 1. I took flight with ANA from Jakarta in the early morning and had a transit time in Haneda airport around 60-80 mins (supposed to be 80 mins, but my flight got a traffic congestion during take-off), and a crew was waiting there to help our connecting flight Haneda - Sapporo, because we needed to transfer from international to domestic terminal and also to re-check in our baggage after we pass the immigration. If you somehow wonder it’s enough to transfer, I said yes, because one of the staff said that too. They already manage the time schedule. So don’t worry, but also you have to rush (not running though). So after re-checked in, which is located just on your right side after you take out your luggage, they have domestic check-in counter and buses which will go to domestic terminal. Always check your ticket which ga...

What can you imagine from the title? You can tell. I was updating just right from the place, Osaka, Japan. I know that many of you have already planned the itinerary to Osaka (if you are going to Japan soon). Here~ I am letting you know about my experience about what I did for 30,000 walks. So I wake up late and had breakfast from my hotel near Sakuragawa Station, which is around 20 mins walk to Namba area. What I did in the morning, I started at 11 AM heading to Namba by walking with a hot weather. It's really hot and humid, 5 mins out from the air-conditioned room, you will feel like you are melting. Just kidding. But hot and humid are true. Namba area where you can find Dotonburi, Shinsaibashi, Ebisu, is actually the main shopping center and food. You can find a lot of food stalls and tax-free shop. It's so crowded even in weekdays, so you can imagine what about weekends. What you can find for photospot is Glicoman. Take a photo there and Congratulations! You ...
