Crazy 30,000 steps in Osaka for one day
What can you imagine from the title? You can tell.
I was updating just right from the place, Osaka, Japan.
I know that many of you have already planned the itinerary to Osaka (if you are going to Japan soon).
Here~ I am letting you know about my experience about what I did for 30,000 walks.
So I wake up late and had breakfast from my hotel near Sakuragawa Station, which is around 20 mins walk to Namba area. What I did in the morning, I started at 11 AM heading to Namba by walking with a hot weather. It's really hot and humid, 5 mins out from the air-conditioned room, you will feel like you are melting. Just kidding. But hot and humid are true.
Namba area where you can find Dotonburi, Shinsaibashi, Ebisu, is actually the main shopping center and food. You can find a lot of food stalls and tax-free shop. It's so crowded even in weekdays, so you can imagine what about weekends. What you can find for photospot is Glicoman. Take a photo there and Congratulations! You just visited Osaka. Another famous food from Osaka are Takoyaki and Okonomiyaki. Find any stalls in Osaka, you can buy range ¥400-800 depends on the size.
I visited Hozenji temple in Namba area. It's really a small temple but a lot of people go there to pray. After took some pictures, we were heading to tsutenkaku (osaka tower) by walking again. What we found during the way to tsutenkaku was nipponbashi area. What is that? That's like the small Akihabara for Osaka version. You can find arcade games, action figures, anime films, comics, merchandise, gatcha (put the coin of ¥100-300 and you can get a random merchandise), and many more. I went inside almost to all stores, to see what's inside and actually to find aircon places.
After exploring the area, we finally reached to Tsutenkaku. Osaka tower where you can see Osaka city from above. The shops around there are not really crowded. You also can find a lot of kutsikatsu (not sure how to spell this).. deep fried food with just one time dip sauce. Yummy. Oh no, I feel hungry again. The food shops are always crowded with people.
Next we were heading to Shitennoji to take some pictures by (of course), walking. Continued to Abeno Haruka, which is a mall, it's said that a tallest skyscrapper in Japan (but I am not sure). From Abeno Haruka, if you want to see the scenery of Osaka, you can go to Abeno 300 observatory, but you need to pay. If you don't want to pay, just go for a free spot from 16th level in that mall. Free and it's worth it that way I think.
Finally went back to Namba area with the train. JR line. It costs ¥160. Looking around Shinsaibashi and bought some stuff before heading back to hotel.
